Womble Trail, Mount Ida N.O.R.B.A. sanctioned mountain bike race on one of the finest single-tracks in the south. Competition by age and ability. Guaranteed total purse of $1,000 to experts and t-shirts to first 200 entries. More information: Gary Strakshus (501) 525-1977.


May 2008 Mount Ida Good Ole Days Car Show

Downtown Mt. Ida on Courthouse Square.  Check-in @ 8:00am Trophies @ 3:00pm.  Over 30 Awards to be given.  All Proceeds to benefit the Ouachita Mountain Community Health Center.  For more info call 870-867-3168

All animals must be pre-registered by July 31 - $10.00 fee per Exhibitor to be eligible for premium sale & add-on money.

October  12-14, 2007 - Annual Quartz, Quilts & Crafts Festival

In Mount Ida, celebrating Quartz Crystal Capital of the World, adult and children's crystal dig, gem and mineral show, quilt show and sale, quilting bee, judged quilts, art show and sale, quality crafts for sale and demos, lots of good food, live entertainment, free admission and parking. 
Thursday set-up only.
Friday and Saturday 9:00-6:00
Sunday 10:00-4:00. 
Just off Hwy 270 east of Mount Ida on Fairgrounds Road.
